  • This product is a very useful cord. It works perfectly with no problems. It brightens and sharpens the picture of my panasonic viero very nicely. Thanks!

Panasonic VIERA TC-P42X3 42-Inch 720p 600 Hz Plasma HDTV

Panasonic VIERA TC-P42X3 42-Inch 720p 600 Hz Plasma HDTV
  • Great TV for the most part. Panasonics do the important thing right in this price range. They get you a decent picture. But they are a bit short on features. And this may come back to bite you in the longer run. So check carefully. One big feature missing is no analog stereo (normal rca cable) output. For those that are thinking of just hooking up a some simple powered speakers to this tV to enhance the sound you might want to think twice. If you have a big AV receiver already (a newer one) or a sound bar or sound system with optical input then most likely no worries. But personally I wanted to add a nice sounding & simple yet inexpensive Harman Kardon SoundSticks system to mine, but was thwarted…
  • This is the first plasma that I have purchased and I must say I am impressed. I own a few LCD's for the other rooms of the house, and immediately the vibrant color renderings and refresh rate become an obvious difference. I have always read that plasma televisions were ideal for sports and movies with fast moving sequences and now owning one i see why. The deeper black levels, the 600hz refresh rate, internet connectivity, and oh yes, the price point, make this Panasonic a bargain well worth looking at. The display does reflect surfaces more than the LCD screen so glare is an issue if placed facing a window, however that is a minimal issue that dark curtains or blinds can resolve. Plasma televisions…

Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT25 50-inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV, Black
  • I made a mistake and purchased a 50 inch Samsung 3D plasma and returned it within a week due to horrible image retention. After learning a lesson on the importance of doing research on a purchase this large I went to work on trying to find the best tv in my price range (1800 bucks at most.) With most individual reviews and head to head reviews I read I kept seeing Panasonic 3d plasmas at the top of the list. These tv's were not only voted best for 3d but also for 2d. So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this set and I'm extremely glad I did. There are four main things I want a tv to be able to do; watch sports, play video games, watch regular programs and also to watch movies. And this…
  • My first thought in writing this review - buy this TV while the promotions from Panasonic are still available! Do not hesitate if you are in the market for a 50-inch TV - this is one of the very best TV's available at the best possible price from the best retailer in the market.Second thought - this is my third attempt to find the right TV with Amazon in the past two months, and I am very grateful for Amazon's 'Gold Glove' level of customer service. I first purchased a Samsung PN50C550 plasma - great image quality, but the Samsung had significant image retention issues and a horizontal image banding effect that they would not warranty after two service visits. Returned this TV for the Toshiba…

Panasonic VIERA TC-P65VT30 65-inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV, Black
  • I had researched for about a year or so before placing a pre-order for this set. In 2010 I purchased a 55 inch Samsung C8000 LED set, and had bad luck with two units which were unrepairable, and needed to be replaced. Finally I got one without a problem, and it looked pretty great with bright content, but in blacked out scenes, or letterbox content there was a "flashlight" and cloud effect that was just too distracting. This is in a completely dark room by the way. It was at this point that I decided I was going to buy the best TV on the market with little regard to cost, and almost everything I read led to the upcoming VT30. So I placed my order in April, and the set was delivered…
  • this purchase was a text-book version of perfection.... The delivery was quick and the two delivery men helped unpack the TV to make sure it was working.. After I set up the TV and started watching it, I was very impressed with the quality of the picture, the sound, and the way everything just worked the way they should.I checked out many TV's before selecting this TV and also Amazon. I can not say enough good things about the service from Amazon or the quality of the TV.On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate Amazon a 10 and the TV a 10.

  • Sorry to report, but as the saying goes, "facts are friendly".You need to hope, make that pray, your set doesn't develop a nasty black line from the top like ours did. The line is maybe 5 inches long and very visible on all inputs. It was confirmed by the repair guy Panasonic sent out. The set needs a new panel. Ok, it sucks but these are complex devices.Guess what? It's been in the shop for a month and the latest date, without any promise, is another four weeks for the part. Two months?Ever try to reach Panasonic for such an issue? It is brutal. Nothing to offer, no consideration whatsoever. Just "please call the repair shop as it is their job to keep you apprised." Yeah,…
  • This is a great television - sharp, clear picture with brilliant color and lots of features that make this a very desireable product. Buying this through Amazon was very easy, extremely convenient and quite cost effective.

Panasonic VIERA TC-L42E3 42-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LED-LCD HDTV
  • As most of us do, I researched "wi-fi" ready TV's and chose this particular Panasonic for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was that it is advertised as "wi-fi" ready. I already have a Roku hooked up to another TV but didn't want to deal with yet another electronic box. Well, I found out what Panasonic means by "wi-fi ready" when I powered up the TV, did the initial set-up and clicked on the wi-fi option. The TV immediately displayed a message telling me that there was no wi-fi adapter in place and instructed me to BUY one in order to take advantage of the TV's wi-fi capability. Huh? So suddenly and unexpectedly my TV costs $90 more. Not a nice surprise.…
  • Things I like:The picture/color are good. Like the 1080p for bluray. Menu screens are decent. Physical appearance is attractive. Seems fairly well made.Meh things:My unit has some serious light leaks around the top and bottom. I do notice it while watching the TV in dark scenes sometimes. It's annoying, but I'm living with it.Sound on this TV is typical of any flatscreen. Sound comes out of the bottom of the unit so it's a little muffled and not great. I've gotten used to this over time though. The specs on this TV say it's 1.7" without the stand. This simply isn't true! I'm not sure how they get away with this. They don't show you a profile picture of the TV, but the bottom actually protrudes…

Panasonic VIERA TC-P60GT30 60-Inch 1080p 600 Hz 3D Plasma HDTV
  • The picture quality this TV puts out is crazy good. Colors are bright and vibrant without being over saturated and unrealistic. Blacks are inky black, and shadow detail is great as well. One of the reasons I bought the GT30 over the ST30 is the THX mode which gives really good out of the box picture without any aftermarket calibration. If you're into tweaking the picture though, there are two professional picture modes that allow very in depth picture controls.1080P Source Material with a high bitrate (such as blurays or Vudu HDX) look incredibly sharp and stunning, while not looking sharp to the point of unrealism as some LCD's look. 720P sources look very good as well if a bit softer. 480i/p…
  • With SONY and JVC no longer manufacturing their phenomenal high-end CRT HDTVs, and Pioneer out of the Plasma business, the pursuit of picture quality is not as simple as it once was. Rest assured, however, that there are still a handful of manufacturers (i.e. Panasonic, Samsung, LG, ...) still investing in Plasma technology, because LCD is a giant leap backwards in terms of picture quality. When Pioneer - the previous undisputed leader in picture quality - left the industry, they sold their Plasma technology to Panasonic. While the amount of Pioneer technology (if any) present in Panasonic's current line-up is a matter of debate, most critics will agree that Panasonic currently holds the crown…

Panasonic VIERA TC-L32X30 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
  • This unit has as good a picture as there currently is for a small room. The sound quality is surprisingly adequate. Installation was quick and simple.
  • Every aspect of setup and documentation was positive. the Users manual documentation concerning operation in basic mode went well. Since I wanted to implement network connectivity, It took me a while to find out that network connection required a special LAN network adapter, only identified in fine print, and expensive!

Panasonic VIERA TC-P50X3 50-Inch 720p 600 Hz Plasma HDTV
  • I purchased the P50X3 over a month ago so now I can give a fair review. Overall, for the price of the TV and size (50'), you can't get much better then this. I own another Panasonic Plasma (400U) and to compare picture quality, pretty much on par. The fact its 720p really makes no difference IMO. I play Blu Ray movies and unless you are completely picky about minute subtle differences, you really can't tell a difference. I have not yet had a chance to hook up this TV to my network for use with Netflix, but I have used my laptop with Netflix via HDMI and the quality of video is decent. My only "issues" with the TV is there is a slight glare I can notice at times. However, this is somewhat…
  • I ordered this from Amazon for $694 and I got $10 off with a coupon I had plus the shipping was free and they brought it right up into my apartment so all I had to do was install it. The install is very simple just screw it into the stand, plug in all the wires and then there is an automated setup process so you just pick your options along the way.The stand feels very secure, it's a big black platform about 2'x1.5' with steal rods that go up inside the TV and screw in, there are 3 screws in each rod that connect it to the platform and 2 in each that connect it to the TV. I was able to do all that by myself but just barely and I'm a pretty big guy so considering the size and weight of the TV…

Panasonic TC-L32X2 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with iPod Dock

Panasonic TC-L32X2 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with iPod Dock
  • I bought this TV so that I could have a TV and stereo in one, instead of having to purchase both. Honestly, the feature I was most excited about was the iPod dock, and everything else was just gravy. After a few weeks of owning the TV, though, I can so with absolutely no reservations that this is a superb set.The ipod dock was a very important feature to me, and the reason I chose this set over others. I have not been disappointed in it yet. It has a very easy-to-navigate menu, and the sound quality is excellent, even when played at lower volumes. The fact that it can play the videos that I have stored on the ipod is a bonus, as well. The picture isn't HD-quality when playing video from the…
  • This Panasonic TV has a great, clear picture. The 720p is perfectly fine for a 32 inch. I looked at plenty of TVs before I purchased this one. It was very easy to set up & the price was right!

  • I went back and forth between this Panasonic and the LG 37" tv until I thought I would make myself sick. Finally, only a side by side comparison in my home was what broke the tie. Yes,the LG was beautiful---great, sharp picture, sound was like stereo---clear, crisp--noticeably better than the Panasonic. But the LG lost in its "curb appeal"...The brown "sticker-like" strip along the bottom made it look cheap. The Panasonic is sleek and solid black, sits low in the cabinet and looks modern. The LG has a higher stand and a resulting clunkier look to it. If you are an electronic snob, then go for the LG for it's only marginally better picture but better sound. If you are…
  • This TV hooked up to my PC's HDMI port without problems, and produces a crystal-clear, sharp picture. For people complaining about 'halos' around screen fonts etc., turn down the 'sharpness' setting in the picture settings. If you have overscan issues and the edges of the screen appear cut off, switch to 'HDMI2' mode in the settings and your screen will display properly.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P42S30 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV
  • I have only had this set for a few days now, still in the 200 hour break in period. With the occasional pumping back up the contrast and brightness to get an idea on how everything will really look once the 200 hour break in is over. One thing that I like about the TV is the Matte finish on the screen. It still reflects, but I have had a sliding door without a drape over it for a couple days and the reflection, while there, was greatly reduced over my last set. Last set Mitsibushi, 54inch, rear projection HDTV. So the screen itself does well with reflections overall. Perhaps there are better.I originally bought this for $999 at best buy. It's now $899 here at Amazon. 4 days after my purchase.…
  • I use my TV for watching sports, and sports related broadcasts, almost exclusively when using cable.Blu-Ray DVD movies second... and that's about it. I'm not a gamer at all, and gamers may want LED/LCD anyway. This TV (for an Amazon price around $1300 w/ free shipping... it's $1700 in Best Buy) is an excellent choice, if not the best choice available for my style use. My extensive research of all brands before buying, ultimately lead me to this TV. I actually waited till this TV was in stock, having first read about it before being available. It's a 2011 model, and incorporates all my needs regarding multiple HDMI connectivity, wireless internet connectivity for NetFlix and other access via the…

  • The product itself is great, and was easy to put together. The level that is included in the base of the product was slightly off so I ended up taking it down and using my own level, but otherwise it was easy enough for just me to do it.If you are mounting a 42" tv, you will be at the edges of mount itself, so you will not be able to slide it a little if you want some minimum adjustment left to right.Easy enough for just me to put up and am very happy with the construction quality of the product
  • We received this product in a very timely manner. Great Customer Service. The product itself is easy to install and makes our flat screen look awesome in the room. What a great price too. Don't fall for the big box store trying to talk you into their inventory of similar item. They charge over 3x the amount. This is a great product and great service.

  • I gave 4 stars, because can't give 3.5.Pros: Nice picture, ergonomic remote, can memorize different setups for different inputs.Cons:1) Built-in speakers firing down and to the rear from the bottom of the TV frame. They are facing down and tilted few degrees up towards the rear wall, and there is a ridge in front of the speakers, further blocking the sound. I reduced the Bass and increased the Tremble, but it is still echoing sometimes like in a shoebox. This is stereo, 2 speakers, but the sound is worse than in my old CRT TV with single mono speaker. I use TV speakers only for TV programs (have external speakers and amplifier for watching DVD and HDD files). Despite added inconvenience of external…
  • Bought this Panasonic Viera TCL32C22 at PC Richards, a NY/NJ area appliance shop. Floor price was $399, but I paid $349.Let me start off by saying I own a video production company, so I sit in front of televisions all day. When HD TV's first hit the market, I was unimpressed with the image quality. At close scrutiny, most HD TV's that I've seen have horrible artifacting, due to the MPEG-2 compression used to transmit signals. After hooking it up to my FIOS HD box using an HDMI cable, the first channel I put on was YES network, because I know that NY Yankees games are broadcast in high definition. I was extremely impressed with the image clarity and the color. There was no visible artifacting,…
